Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation Awards Gill Hall Principal as Penguins MVP! Mr. Adam Zunic, Gill Hall Principal, was recognized as one of 16 principals from Allegheny County as Penguins Most Valuable Principals (MVP).This program, highlighting the amazing work done over this past year, recognizes principals who demonstrate an innovative approach to learning, a continuous strive for excellence and a passion for their school and students.This is the first year for the program, which is sponsored by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, in partnership with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit and the Grable Foundation. The goal of the program is to recognize hard working and deserving principals, especially those who have gone above and beyond for their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.Mr. Zunic will receive a monetary donation for their schools and a bag of Pittsburgh Penguins goodies including a personalized jersey! Congratulations to Mr. Zunic as a well-deserved recipient, and we thank you for all you do for our students and staff!

Chromebook/iPad insurance is still available to purchase if needed. Always-on insurance is $25 and is bundled with a district-approved, “always-on” Chromebook case.Always-on Insurance need not be purchased each school year. As long as the case is maintained in good, serviceable condition the Chromebook is insured against unlimited accidents year after year. Please visit the link below to purchase. Cases will be delivered to your child's school or can be picked up at the high school for virtual learners. Parents/Guardians of Incoming 2nd Grade Students: This school year all second grade students will be receiving Chromebooks in place of their iPads. The technology department has set dates, times, and the location for the exchange to occur and are listed below. Please bring the district issued iPad with you to exchange for your Chromebook. Dates/Times/Location: August 10, 11, & 12 - 9-11AM and 1-2PM in the TJHS Media Center (located in the new TJ High School) next to the main office.
