Reflections Awards Assembly

Congratulations to all of our award winners in the PTA Reflections Program! This marked the first year for the award-based arts program JHIS, and a school-wide assembly was held to recognize and celebrate all students involved. Out of more than 50 entries received, the top 5 in each category will advance to the PTA Council level. From there, students will have the chance for further recognition and prizes at the state and national level, including the chance for cash prizes. Congratulations once again to all those who explored the arts through the PTA Reflections Program! We were so proud of all of the creative and amazing entries! Click here to watch a video link of the assembly celebration.  A complete list of the winners can be viewed here. Special thanks to the JHIS Reflections Committee for organizing!

Red Ribbon Heroes Lunch

Jefferson Hills Intermediate School wrapped up Red Ribbon Week in a big way by hosting a Red Ribbon Heroes Luncheon to honor all of the First Responder families and family members of JHIS serving in the Armed Forces! Students decorated the cafeteria with special posters thanking our First Responders and Members of the Armed Forces for all they do to protect us and keep us safe. Thank you to the JHIS PTA for organizing this wonderful event, and huge thanks to our First Responders and Members of the Armed Forces for all that you do!
