The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) enforces, among other statutes, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Title IX protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive Federal financial assistance.

Training Materials
34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10) requires all training materials to be posted publicly. The West Jefferson Hills School District participated in training provided through the Southwest Region Human Resources Organization by members of the law firm Weiss, Burkardt, Kramer. The Title IX Team (Title IX Coordinator, Title XI Compliance Officer, Title IX Investigators, Decision-Makers and Appeals Decision-Makers) participated in the training.
