Students are the primary focus of the West Jefferson Hills School District where, in partnership with families and community, the mission is to educate and prepare all students to become active, contributing members of society by providing a challenging, innovative educational program guided by an exceptional staff in a safe, positive, caring environment, all of which promote excellence.

Events and Activities

The 22nd Annual "Shower of Stars" Talent Show will be held on March 24, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the TJHS auditorium. Talent Show audition registration packets are available in school offices from now until Wednesday, February 1. Details.

The TJHS Snowball Dance will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 6:30-10:30 pm at the West Club Lounge of Heinz Field (facing the Science Center). Parking is available in the Science Center parking lot for $7.00. No admittance after 7:30 pm.

The Athletic/Student Activities Committee will meet Friday, January 27, 2012, at 7:30 A.M. in the lower-level conference room of the Administration Building, 835 Old Clairton Road, Jefferson Hills, PA.

The West Jefferson Hills School District is accepting applications for substitute custodial positions to do light cleaning for all shifts.
