New TJHS Entreprenuerial Business Class - INCubatoredu@tjhs
Thomas Jefferson High School is offering students a brand new entrepreneurship experience for the 2018-19 school year where students create and fully develop their own product or service.  Real entrepreneurs and business experts serve as volunteer coaches and mentors guiding student teams through the business start-up process culminating with a “Shark Tank” Pitch Night to investors at the end of the school year. Community members with business and entrepreneurial experience interested in working with our high school students are encouraged to attend the INCubatoredu Volunteer Open House on Thursday, May 10 at 6:30PM at the middle school. Kennywood Ticket Sales
Kennywood School Picnic Day is Friday, May 18, 2018. Kennywood tickets are $26 and were sold in the schools on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Cash or money orders only; no personal checks will be accepted. The Community Ticket Sale will take place on Monday, May 14, 2018, in the lobby of Jefferson Elementary School from 5:00PM-8:00PM.  Please click here to view the flyer for additional information. West Jefferson Hills School District Recognized as Common Sense District

We are pleased to announce that Common Sense, the national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids and families thrive in a world of digital media and technology, has recognized the West Jefferson Hills School District as a Common Sense District. As part of our commitment to personalized learning and 1:1 technology, the district has implemented Digital Citizenship classes for all students in grades 5- 12 this school year. We have partnered with Common Sense Media to provide our students with the necessary skills and information to conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner online. Click here to read the full press release.
