Recently, there has been some discussion
among legislators about the prudence of allowing schools to be
used as polling places.
The West Jefferson Hills School Board of
Directors has passed
Resolution 305-13, denying the use of
schools as polling places. Please assist in making our collective voices heard and
write to your
state legislators, the Allegheny County Board of
Elections, and Chief Julio Pena.
The West Jefferson Hills School District has secured the rank of 15th out of the 104 school districts in the surrounding seven-county region according to the
Pittsburgh Business Times 2013 Guide to Western Pennsylvania Schools. Congratulations!
Resolution 304-13,
