To protect your child and prevent the spread of illness to other classmates, we suggest to keep a child home from school if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Fever of 100 degrees or higher in the last 24 hours (child needs to be fever free for 24 hours, without the use of medicine, before returning to school)
- Vomiting in the last 12 hours
- Diarrhea
- Persistent cough
- Sore throat with swollen glands
- Earache
- Widespread body rash or rash of unknown origin
- Contagious illness, eye or skin infection until treated by your physician and released for school attendance
