Clarion University Biology Summer Program
Clarion University Biology department is offering an excellent summer camp for students interested in learning about wildlife and fisheries.  
 
ACLU Summer Advocacy Program
The ACLU Summer Advocacy Program is a week-long firsthand learning experience for the next generation of social justice advocates.  Through an intensive program in Washington, D.C. from July 20-26, students will learn directly from lawyers, lobbyists, community activists, and ACLU experts and cover a wide variety of topics relating to social justice.  More information here

Fashion Summer Camps at Banson NYC
The camps are designed for teens entering 9th through 12th grades. Each week-long session will teach the students the fundamentals of the fashion industry by providing an insider's perspective.  The students will stay at the LIM College Residence Hall on the Upper East Side.  Each morning the group will be picked up at the dorm by a Banson NYC representative.   From there we will depart for our visits, seminars and activities of the day. Each evening will have group activities planned.  There will be a 1:5 - 1:8 adult:student ratio throughout the day-camp hours.  All of the supervisors will be at least 21 and fully knowledgeable about NYC and the transit system.  Enrollment is limited to 20 campers per session.  We accept applications on a first come, first served basis.
 
Health Careers Scholar Academy at the University of Pittsburgh
The academically rigorous, hands-on experience is a springboard for students interested in medicine.  Program is very competitive. 
 
UPMC Hillman Cancer Center Academy 
This program is an immersive mentored research program for a diverse group of high school students involving an authentic cancer research project and mentorship from University faculty and trainees.   Program is very competitive.

Point Park Summer CSI Camp
With years of experience in their chosen fields instruct students daily on the topics of intelligence studies, criminal evidence, crime scene investigation, trace evidence, hair analysis, crime prosecution and more. The camp teaches students about the fields of forensic science, criminal justice, intelligence and national security and the job opportunities available with each of these disciplines.  
 
Duquesne University Forensic Science and Law Summer Workshop 
Workshop topics include: Mock Crime Scene, Mock Trial, Evidence Collection, Fingerprints, Pathology, Ink Analysis, Toxicology, Hair and Fiber Analysis, Firearms and Toolmarks, Wrongful Convictions, DNA Fingerprinting, and Blood Splatter Analysis.
 
ALCOSAN Clean Water Academy
A weeklong enrichment that exposes students to STEM content relating to wastewater treatment.  Topics include engineering, chemistry, microbiology, and technology.
 
Waynesburg University Sports Broadcasting Camp
A camp designed to introduce high school students to the fields of sports journalism and announcing.  Attendees will receive practical experience in reporting sports, interviewing, and doing play-by-play.  
Pennsylvania School for Excellence in Agricultural Sciences
A four-week residential program for juniors (rising seniors) at Penn State University Park (very competitive).  Topics covered are: animal science, environmental and natural resource systems, global agriculture, plants, food science, and ecosystem ecology.  
 
Penn State Summer Camps in Communications 
Students can explore interests in one of three options - broadcast journalism, digital journalism, or film-video during these hands-on summer camps.  
 
United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar 
If you are currently in your junior year of high school and considering the Naval Academy as your college of choice, we strongly recommend you consider applying to Summer Seminar. Summer Seminar will introduce you to life at the Academy, where you will experience first-class academic, athletic, and professional training at the #1 public college in the U.S.* (Top 25 Public College in the U.S. 2017, Forbes). Your Summer Seminar application will also serve as a preliminary application to the Academy that you will complete before or during your senior year.  
 
Rochester Institute of Technology Two-Day Workshops
Workshops are offered in two sessions for students entering their senior years in the fall and will help students gain experience and knowledge necessary to start making career decisions.  
 
Experience Engineering Summer Program at Dayton 
Students will explore the different types of engineering through hands-on experiences.
 
Keystone Boys/Girls State
Pennsylvania American Legion Keystone Boys State is a unique week long summertime educational program that does not emphasize classroom lectures and textbook learning. Instead, it focuses on participation and personal experience in a model state, complete with governing bodies and elected public officials.  It is designed to mirror the structure and operation of its respective state government.   
 
Engineering Workshop at Carnegie Mellon University
A summer program for rising 10th and 11th graders that helps students explore the different types of engineering and what engineers do. Students will participate in hands-on activities using CAD, CAE, and tools such as 3D printers and laser cutters.  
 
United States Military Academy Summer Leaders Experience  
This is a week-long immersion in academic, military and social life for those considering the United States Military Academy. You will explore the United States Military Academy from all angles, including some intense military training and athletic activities. An action packed week, it’s the best way for you to gauge the challenges you would encounter and overcome as a United States Military Academy cadet. 
 
Engineering Summer Academy at Penn 
Highly talented and motivated high school students are invited to apply to the Engineering Summer Academy at Penn for an intensive, three-week academic experience like no other! With one of 6 courses, you can take your STEM interests to the next level and earn colllege credit (1 Penn cu). Combining sophisticated theory with hands-on practical experience in our cutting edge laboratories, ESAP challenges students to work harder, smarter, and more creatively than they have bbefore. Programs in Biotechnology, Computer Graphics, Nanotechnology, Complex Networks, Computer Science, and Robotics are available. 

 
NYU Pre College Summer Program for High School Students
NYU Precollege gives rising juniors and seniors the amazing opportunity to spend their sumer on NYU's campus in the heart of Manhattan. For six weeks, high schoolers can take college-level courses for credit, develop their essay-writing skills, and learn how to manage their time in college, all while experiencing what it's like to be an NYU student. Program runs from July 7-August 16. For scholarship consideration, students should apply early and no later than April 1, 2019.
