TJHS Annual Fall Play Goes Virtual on January 9, 2021

This weekend, January 9 and 10, Thomas Jefferson High School proudly presents “Unexpected Connections” - two short plays that show how we find (and lose) connections in the most surprising of ways. “Ghosts in the Machine” by Eric Coble, was filmed entirely on zoom, and features seven extraordinary actors telling the story of teenagers who begin to get bizarre texts from numbers they don’t recognize.  The mystery brings them closer together.  “Our Place” tells 5 stories on a dock of people trying to find happiness.  This show called for the 14 performers to stretch themselves further than they’d ever had to.

This show is recommended for adults and children over 10.  It deals with mature subject matter, such as loss, self-harm, and sexual identity.

Ticket info:  The show is available to stream this weekend ONLY, beginning Saturday January 9.  Go to tjhs.anywhereseat.com to purchase access to the stream for a minimum of $5.   We need your help to keep the arts alive during these unprecedented times, so we are asking for donations above and beyond this amount.
