The West Jefferson Hills School District is recognized locally and nationally as an educational leader committed to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. As we continue to rise, our focus remains on providing high-quality learning experiences that empower every student to grow, achieve, and reach their full potential.
The Director of Curriculum works collaboratively with teachers and administrators to support effective teaching and learning across all classrooms. Through thoughtful curriculum development, instructional support, and ongoing collaboration, we strive to maximize the instructional process and ensure that all students have access to meaningful, engaging, and challenging learning experiences.
The districtwide commitment is that all students will demonstrate at least one year of academic growth for one year of instruction. Achieving this goal requires a shared commitment to strong curriculum, evidence-based instructional practices, data-informed decision-making, and a culture of continuous growth.
The Director of Curriculum will continue to support educators in strengthening classroom instruction, aligning curriculum to Pennsylvania Academic Standards, and creating opportunities for every student to succeed.
