YEARBOOKS:

Extra yearbooks are available for purchase. Please see Mrs. Karcher if interested. The price is $60 – CASH ONLY.

SAT TEST:

Students registered to take the ACT on Saturday, June 14, 2008 are asked to check the rosters posted in the lobby on Saturday when they arrive.

Registered students are reminded that the doors open to students at 7:30 am. All students are to be in their assigned rooms by 8:00 am. Please bring in your admission ticket, two #2 pencils and a college-board approved calculator and

a photo ID. If you do not have a photo ID, please see Mrs. Madar in the Guidance Office before dismissal on

Thursday so that your photo ID will be ready by Friday.

Cell phones are not permitted in the testing rooms. Please leave your cell phone either in your car or at home. Also, food and beverages are not permitted in the testing rooms. Proctors will label snacks and keep them in the lobby for breaks.

The testing sessions will end around 12:45 pm. Please plan accordingly.

Attention seniors interested in a trade: Apprenticeship opportunities for those who meet the requirements are available through the Joint Apprenticeship Committee of the Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local #2. If interested in more information visit the scholarship webpage on the wjhsd website or the apprenticeship binder in the guidance office.

Attention seniors: Here is yet another opportunity for residents of Jefferson Hills or West Elizabeth to acquire $1,000 for your college years. The Jefferson Hills Lions Club is offering two $1,000 scholarships in memory of Dr. John Fallon. The Jefferson Hills Lions John Fallon Memorial Scholarship applications are available in the guidance office with Ms. McKinley or on the scholarship webpage on the wjhsd website. Completed information deadline is Friday, June 13 at 2:30.
