UNITED STATES SENATE YOUTH PROGRAM

Now in its 49^th year, the United States Senate Youth Program offers an outstanding opportunity for superb student leaders, sponsored by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation, the Program features an all-expense paid, weeklong adventure (March 5 – 12, 2011) with government leaders in Washington D.C., as well as the award of a $5,000 collegiate scholarship to each of two delegates from each state.

Time is of the essence as only ONE student may represent Thomas Jefferson High School. A current junior or senior who is an elected office in class government, the student council, or have served as an elected representative to a district, regional, or state-level civic or educational organization should see Miss McKinley in the guidance office if interested.
