UNITED STATES SENATE YOUTH PROGRAM

Now in its 49th year, the United States Senate Youth Program offers an outstanding opportunity for superb student leaders, sponsored by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation, the Program features an all-expense paid, weeklong adventure (March 5 – 12, 2011) with government leaders in Washington D.C., as well as the award of a $5,000 collegiate scholarship to each of two delegates from each state.

Time is of the essence as only ONE student may represent Thomas Jefferson High School.  A current junior or senior who is an elected office in class government, the student council, or have served as an elected representative to a district, regional, or state-level civic or educational organization should see Miss McKinley in the guidance office if interested.

Deadline is October 20, 2010, so please act quickly.
