Goals and Objectives for Library Pupils
- Goal: To Enjoy, Appreciate, and Understand Different Kinds of Literature
- Objective: To enjoy listening to, reading, and discussing a variety of books
- Objective: To choose different types of books that we might enjoy reading on our own
- Objective: To think critically and evaluate the quality of the books we read through discussion or writing
- Goal: To Develop Successful Information-Seeking Skills and Habits
- Objective: To understand the purposes of different resources so we know where to look
- Objective: To become familiar with search methods for information
- Goal: To Participate in a Fun and Respectful Learning Community
- Objective: To create a learning environment where we respect one another, respect the resources and physical space of the library, act in a manner that promotes safety, and feel comfortable sharing our ideas
