REQUIREMENTS Everyday
Materials: small 3-ring binder, notebook paper, pen or pencil, Class Requirements: The following list of items will guide you in being successful in Mrs. Cramer's 7th grade Life Science classroom. 1. Complete
reading assignments: We will use the Prentice-Hall Science Explorer
text Life Science. Within the first week of school, students
will be given a copy of the textbook to keep at home. A classroom set
will be used here at school. 4. Extra Credit: Opportunities for extra credit are available. They are announced by Mrs. Cramer throughout the year. 5. Grades: All graded assignments, tests, and projects will be averaged together with participation, notebook, and homework completion grades to calculate grades for each nine-week period. Mid-nine grade reports are sent home to parents during each grading period. Additionally, grade reports may be sent home if a student has dropped dramatically within a short period of time to alert parents of the missing or incomplete assignments. 6. Notebooks: A 3-ring binder is used to organize warm-up questions, class notes, and handouts. Mrs. Cramer keeps a list of notebook entries in the classroom. Students are encouraged to check the list to ensure they have all handouts, notes, etc. If a student is missing an item, they can check the model notebook in the classroom and approach Mrs. Cramer about obtaining the missing item(s). 7.
Late Work: Remember..it is your responsibility to turn in late
or make up work. I will not hound you for it. |
