Welcome to first grade! I am so excited about having you in my class! I know you are going to enjoy all the wonderful activities that have been planned for you!
It's a good idea to carry a backpack to school each day. It's also handy to have a pocket folder for taking important papers to and from school. I will have a pencil, tablet, crayons, scissors and glue for you to use at school. You are welcome to bring:
Glue sticks
Colored pencils(no markers, please)
Extra pencils and erasers
Small round tip scissors
Our classroom is Room 105. I will be mailing you a special bracelet to wear on the first day of school. School begins on August 26th. I will meet you in the gymnasium on the first morning. I will look for you and your classmates. I will recognize you because you will be wearing your special bracelet. I'll see you on Tuesday, August 26th.
