Birthdays are special occasions in 1st grade.
Parents may send small individual treats for each student to enjoy.
On their special day, students wear a birthday crown.
They pass their treats after our own rendition of "Happy Birthday".
The PTA provides a treat card.
Students can pick an extra 'goodie' from the cafeteria during lunch on their birthday celebration day.
