Homework & Projects

1.       Homework is due at the beginning of the period. It will not be accepted late.

2.     If, for any reason, you are in school but not in class your homework or project is due

On that day.  It is your responsibility to see that it is turned in.

3.     If you have been absent and a major project was due on the day of your absence

you must turn it in on its due date.

4. Failure to hand in a major project on its due date, will result in losing 10% points

for each day it is late. Failure to turn it in at all will result in an incomplete grade

for the nine weeks and/or failure of the class.

                5. When working in a group all members must do their share.

Absences and Makeup

1.       If you have been absent it is your responsibility to see the teacher about what you have missed, before class starts. Makeup allowances will follow school guidelines.

2.  If you have missed an exam, you must make arrangements to take the test within the

allowed time and on your own time. Tests will not be made up during class, resulting in

the loss of another day of instruction. One days absence requires that you make up the

test on the day of your return.

2.     If you miss a foods lab there is no way to make up the lab. Missing one lab will not

affect your grade. Missing several labs will affect your grade.
