Description:
The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people during Red Ribbon Week. The goal of Red Ribbon Week is for all of the students to love and respect themselves and remain drug free. Each day this week will be filled with different lessons and activities at the elementary schools to reinforce this year’s theme of “Send a Message. Stay Drug Free!” The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. The theme is also a reminder that by staying drug free, students are sending a message to themselves and others about how much they value themselves, their overall health, their community and their future.
