DJZ Rock was at Gill Hall on September 8th to share with Students about being Rock Stars. Students can receive a Rock Star Slip when they are caught doing a Rock Star Performance:R = Respect OthersO = Obey All RulesC = Care about one AnotherK = Keep hands, feet and objects to ourselvesSlips are entered into Grade Level Guitars and once a month one name from each homeroom is pulled as the Rock Star of the Month and all winners have a special Donut Morning with a Parent as a reward.

Parents/Guardians of Incoming 2nd Grade Students: This school year all second grade students will be receiving Chromebooks in place of their iPads. The technology department has set dates, times, and the location for the exchange to occur and are listed below. Please bring the district issued iPad with you to exchange for your Chromebook. Dates/Times/Location: August 10, 11, & 12 - 9-11AM and 1-2PM in the TJHS Media Center (located in the new TJ High School) next to the main office. In order to ensure the safest and most efficient methods for student dismissal, the West Jefferson Hills School District is continuing to use a system at the elementary and intermediate schools for those students who are being picked up at the end of the school day. The system will utilize car tags and backpack tags to identify students and ensure that they are released only to drivers who are approved to pick them up.
