TJHS football will play West York on Friday, December 5,
7:00 pm at Mansion Park Stadium in Altoona in the PIAA semi-finals.
Ticket pre-sale will be Wednesday 6-8 pm in the TJHS
gymnasium. Adult tickets are $6 and students $3. All
tickets sold at the gate are $6. There will be NO TICKET SALES

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE WEST JEFFERSON HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT'S SWAP PROGRAM Beyond the headlines and sound byte promotions, here are the facts: In 2005, the West Jefferson Hills School District entered into an Interest Rate Swap Program in order to provide a cashflow benefit to the District by exchanging a tax-exempt rate for a taxable rate, which resulted in an upfront cash inflow of $803,100 to the District. This program has allowed the District to realize interest rate savings of approximately $835,000, net of fees, through 9/30/08. Additionally, the District has earned interest income on the upfront payment of these funds. Read More, Click Here The West Jefferson Hills School District (WJHSD) will be using School2Phone notification system to inform parents about an emergency such as school delays or closings because of inclement weather and other important school activities by phone, text, and/or email alerts. The West Jefferson Hills School District is pleased to announce that it has acquired a new centralized and more effective integrated student information system, known as PowerSchool. This system replaces the LetterGrade application that we have been using to manage student information.
