About Dr. Davies
Dr. Davies (Will) is the developer and program supervisor for the AHN CHILL Project, a mindfulness informed school transformation movement. Prior to this role, Will served for 13 years in a variety of positions at a major behavioral health institution. These roles included Director of Clinical Care Services for the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Service line, the Director of the Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Programs and the Inpatient School Principal. Will has a doctorate in educational leadership, masters in teaching, bachelors in developmental psychology and certifications as an assistant superintendent, elementary school educator, and private academic school emotional support. Will is passionate about improving the lives of children and adolescents through the lens of preventative skill based learning that transforms the school culture. As an educator, Will has a personal understanding of the stressors that impact teachers who are serving students with acute needs. Through a wide range of prior experiences, an extensive literature review, and recognizing antiquated school-based therapy models and support systems, the CHILL Project was created to address the needs of the entire school community.
