 Carolyn Bourgeois - President
Carolyn Bourgeois is a lifelong resident of Pleasant Hills and the West Jefferson Hills School District.  She graduated from Robert Morris University and started working for Dietrich Industries in 1984.  When William S. Dietrich II, a steel executive soon to be a Pittsburgh philanthropist, sold Dietrich Industries and started The Dietrich Charitable Trusts, Carolyn made the move with him.  In 2011 when Bill Dietrich passed away, The Dietrich Charitable Trusts became The Dietrich Foundation to which Carolyn is still happily employed today.

In addition to being on the West Jefferson Hills Foundation for Education board, Carolyn currently serves on Parish Council for the St. Clare of Assisi, St. Elizabeth of Hungary, Holy Spirit and St. Thomas à Becket Parish Grouping as well as serving on the board of TJ Arts.  She previously served as a West Jefferson Hills School Board Member from 2009 to 2017.  Carolyn has been, and still is, an active volunteer serving in various church and community functions.

Mrs. Bourgeois  is a 1980 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, and her husband Bob is a 1979 TJ alum. They have three children, all of whom  graduated from TJ: Danielle – Class of 2011; Matt – Class of 2014; and Craig – Class of 2015.
 
 
Lisa A. Florian – Secretary
Lisa Florian, Senior Vice President of Digital Experience and Marketing at Clearview Federal Credit Union, a $1.6B financial institution serving over 100,000 members and headquartered in Moon Township, PA, brings over 20 years of financial, marketing, communications, community engagement and public relations expertise to the Foundation. She is a strategic-thinking, high-performing and award winning professional, with an impressive record of achievement and keen sensitivity to the needs of consumers and the community.

A lifelong Pittsburgh native, Mrs. Florian earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Washington and Jefferson College and her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University.  She is a respected member of many organizations, a devoted mother and number one fan to her two sons and current WJHSD students – Nicholas and Nathan, wife to Jason, and dedicated to other members of her immediate and extended family. Mrs. Florian has served on a number of boards and committees throughout her tenure, both professionally and in the community. In addition to the Foundation Board, she is presently a member of the Credit Union National Association Marketing and Business Development Council Recognition Committee and regularly volunteers her time to many functions and charities throughout the Pittsburgh region.
 

Maria Inks – 1st Vice President 
Maria Inks has been working in Career and Technical Education for the past 14 years, and has been employed by Steel Center for CTE since 2013.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and English 7-12 from Clarion University.  
Maria has served on the board of Jaguars United soccer program from 2016-2018, ran the Teen Programming at Pleasant Hills Library, serves on the Executive Advisory Council as a Community Member at Steel Center for CTE, and volunteers her time to various booster programs for her son Michael’s activities. Mrs. Inks is married to Ryan, and they have one son, Michael, who is currently a sophomore at TJHS.

 
Gayle Manculich - Treasurer
 Gayle Manculich is a dedicated, creative, driven professional with a demonstrated track record of execution in an environment of rapidly shifting priorities.  Gayle is the marketing and communications manager for L3 Brashear, a recognized leader in optical technologies with products and precision optical capabilities to enable high energy laser missions, fire control solutions, and stabilized tracking systems.
 
 
Gayle has a Bachelor’s Degree in physical education and speech communication from Otterbein University and a Master’s Degree in business leadership from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She is a 1986 TJ graduate, and her daughter is a student at Pleasant Hills Middle School.
 
 
 
Dr. Dana R. Willmer – 2nd Vice President
Dana R. Willmer, Ph.D. is a Supervisory Research Behavioral Scientist and currently serves as the Chief for the Human Factors Branch of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Mining Research Program in Pittsburgh. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and Organizational Communication from Alma College, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh. In the community, Dana has served as a Commissioner and Chairwoman of the Pleasant Hills Planning Commission and coached basketball within the Jaguar Hoops recreation program. Dana has two young sons in the school district.
